INSURANCE ALERT
Effective January 1, 2027 our practice will no longer accept the following health plans as an in-network plan for medical services.
- Aetna Better Health of Florida Medicaid
- Community Care through Florida Healthy Kids (FHK) program
- Simply through KidCare program
This decision was made after careful consideration and reflects administrative and operational factors related to the processing and management of this coverage. If you currently participate in one of these plans, you may continue receiving care at our practice. However, beginning January 1, 2027, services provided will be considered self-pay, unless you have alternative insurance coverage that we accept. Self-pay payments will be due upon check-in and before being seen in accordance with our self-pay policies.
Open enrollment for Medicaid Florida begins October 1, 2026 and ends December 1, 2026 for new plans to take effect January 1, 2027. We will continue to participate in the following Florida Medicaid programs.
- Sunshine Medicaid & Sunshine Medi-Kids
- Humana Health Horizons Florida Medicaid & Humana Medi-Kids
- Community Care through MMA
- Simply Healthcare through MMA & Medi-Kids
Our commitment to providing high-quality medical care remains unchanged, and we value the trust you have placed in our practice. We understand that insurance changes can be challenging and our staff is available to answer questions regarding billing, our self-pay rates, and accepted insurance plans. As a reminder, open enrollment for the Health Care Marketplace begins November 1, 2026.
